Logistics mezzanine
Make the most of the height of your distribution centre with a logistics mezzanine floor.
Make the most of the height of your distribution centre with a logistics mezzanine floor.
Our system steel structures are extremely suitable for creating additional space in logistics units and distribution centres at low investment costs and in short lead times. Use the potential of your building by going up! Our self-supporting structures prevent difficult design processes that may cause structural damage to your structure. Thanks to the demountable nature of our structures, they retain a residual value even after use. The structures we build in logistics units are often combined with pallet racks, shelf racks or automation. Each project is designed, produced and installed according to the specifications and dimensions of the building and application.
Sectors in which we are often active include:
This project is divided into several parts. A two-storey section has been built, with a floor that meets the requirements for order picking. In addition, a single floor was realised where, in addition to the surface area, the product packaging systems had to be taken into account. We provided the stairs, railings and cage ladders and also installed various special, integrated products such as a scale structure.

This floor was realised during the construction of this building. Consulting with the contractor at such an early stage enabled us to realise an optimal floor. Using Anera’s unique extension system, two floors were constructed. It is also possible to prepare a mezzanine for possible expansion, without implementing the expansion right away. Our extension system is extremely suitable for this. For this logistics floor, a more luxurious floor slab with a granite appearance on the top was chosen. Anera placed several stairwells in a central location. Anera’s profiles also offer space to pass through or install lighting and/or sprinklers.

A mezzanine floor consisting of four floors was created, in addition to various extensions of the existing floors. This more complex project was done in phases, with the preparation being extremely carefully prepared by our own engineering team, allowing for smooth assembly on location. The design also takes into account the earthquake loads of this area. In addition to the various floors, stairs and accessories, we also supplied the tyre storage boxes for this project.

In Hunkemöller’s new distribution center, we have built a two-layer, completely free-standing mezzanine floor in collaboration with an automation company. Static storage and workstations have been built on the first floor (manual). On the second floor, 160 AMR robots with goods-to-person racks on their backs drive around that bring the goods to the people. This for optimal storage capacity and efficient and ergonomic order picking of products.

Our building system is frequently used as a suspension system for automated warehouse and industrial applications. This includes pocket/pouch sorting systems, conveyor and sorting technology or transport systems. Our building system is also extremely suitable for Goods-On-Hangers (GOH) systems. Each project is designed, produced and installed according to the specifications and dimensions of the building and application.
