Anera opens its doors during Moerdijk Open Port Day 2026

On Saturday 3 October 2026, Anera opened its factory in Klundert during the Moerdijk Open Port Day. Visitors were given a unique behind-the-scenes look at the production of our mezzanine floors and discovered how these structures are designed, manufactured and prepared for logistics projects both at home and abroad.

A behind-the-scenes look at Anera

Anera specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of mezzanine floors for warehouses, distribution centres and industrial environments. As our projects are spread across the whole of Europe, they are not easily accessible to the general public. During the Open Port Day, visitors were therefore able to see where it all begins: at our own production site on Korhoenweg in Klundert.

Families, friends, industry colleagues and other interested parties were warmly welcomed. During a guided tour taking in six information stations, our colleagues demonstrated how a mezzanine structure is created. Through banners, presentations and explanations from staff, topics covered included our two rolling lines and the coating line.

Visitors were thus able to see not only large machines and steel structures, but also the craftsmanship, technology and teamwork required to produce mezzanine floors for logistics projects across Europe.

Six stations with explanations

For Open Port Day, we set up six clearly marked stations in the factory. At each station, our staff guided visitors and were on hand to answer questions and explain the production process. This gave visitors an insight into the various stages of the process, from processing steel to preparing structures for dispatch and on-site installation.

The guided tour provided a good insight into the versatility of our work: engineering, production, quality, logistics and collaboration all come together at Anera on a daily basis. Entertainment was also provided for our youngest visitors, ensuring the day was enjoyable for the whole family.

A successful day in Klundert

The weather was on our side, the atmosphere was friendly, and we were delighted to welcome a large and diverse group of visitors. The Open Harbour Day gave us the chance to show who we are, what we do, and the team with whom we work every day to develop solutions for the logistics sector.
