What maintenance does a mezzanine floor require?

Very little: cleaning is in principle the only maintenance required. Beyond that, it is important to make sure the structure is not damaged, for example by collisions.

Do not overlook the inspection regime: alongside routine cleaning, an annual external inspection and regular visual checks by the owner apply.

  1. Can Anera also inspect floors and racking from other suppliers?
    "

Yes. Anera inspects not only its own structures, but also racking and mezzanine floors supplied by other parties.

This is possible because the checkpoints examined during an inspection are laid down in a standard. Anera inspects in accordance with that standard, regardless of who originally supplied the structure.

  3. How long does a mezzanine floor last?
    "

Anera's floors are designed for a service life of approximately 25 years, and that service life is comfortably achievable in practice.

In reality, a steel structure can last far longer. Steel does not degrade in quality. As long as the floor is not in a corrosive environment and does not sustain damage (from being driven into, for example), Anera considers that the structure can last almost indefinitely.
