Een etagevloer is volgens het Nederlandse bouwbesluit vergunningplichtig wanneer het gezien wordt als een gebouwonderdeel. Dit is het geval als er permanente werkplekken op komen (bijvoorbeeld een orderpick magazijn) of de oppervlakte van het magazijn aanzienlijk vergroot wordt. Wordt de vloer echter alleen gebruikt voor goederenopslag (met geen aanzienlijke oppervlakte uitbreiding van uw magazijn), dan kan deze beschouwd worden als een inrichting en is deze niet vergunningplichtig. De situatie is per project verschillend. Neem bij vragen over dit onderwerp gerust contact op met één van onze ingenieurs.
 

Load according to standards

The permitted load on the mezzanine floor is based on the Eurocode. Below you will find an overview of the minimum loads as indicated in Eurocode 1 (EN-1991). Note: these are minimum values according to regulationl standards, but at times, a higher load is necessary or a lower load is sufficient. That is why the use of the floor must always be critically reviewed. For instance, if shelves are placed on top, a higher load may be necessary. If the floor is only used for clothing storage, a lower load is possible (300kg/m2). The permitted load for which the floor is constructed is clearly communicated to the user to prevent overload with signs attached to the floor.

DESIGN

ACCORDING TO THE DUTCH BUILDING CODE 2012 AND MACHINE GUIDELINES NEN-EN-ISO-14122

Our structures are designed to comply with local building regulation and/or EN ISO 14122. This means we take into account the minimum free height above and below the floor, the maximum escape distances and other relevant requirements. Our stairs and handrails meet the various standards applied throughout Europe.

CONSTRUCTIVE DESIGN

ACCORDING TO EUROCODE (EN-1990 TO EN-1995)

Our mezzanine floors are structurally designed according to the European Eurocode. As a standard, all our floors are designed and calculated according to this standard. At additional cost, we can issue a static calculation report, which is required for an environmental permit application.

Production

According to EN-1090 EXC.2 EN ISO-3834-3

Our entire production process is EN-1090 certified. This allows us to supply our floors with a CE certificate (mandatory in Europe).
Our welding department is ISO-3834-3 certified. With these standards we guarantee European quality requirements.
